The Original Crysis being ported?
The Korean Games Rating Board has gained quite some popularity these days, has it not? Truly, hot on the heels of some limbo portability from Xbox 360 to the PlayStation system now shows up an Xbox 360 version of Crysis in the new listing on The Korean Games Rating Board. This development had been confirmed by member of the MyCrysis forums so the reports seem genuine to the core. Furthermore, Kotaku reports that an EA Korea representative confirmed that the game is coming to the Xbox 360; however, no hints of release date were given away.
We got further proof of this latest development on the game which made things a bit clearer. The ESRB’s website showed an Xbox 360 version of Crysis. However, there is a slight twist in the tale; the PlayStation version was also seen alongside the other two platforms, meaning thereby Crysis may well be heading to both next-generation consoles. In addition, the console rating remains the same as that for the PC; that is, Mature. The following mage was taken from the ESRB website and it confirms all this. Have a look:
Crysis initially hit the PC back in year 2007 and retained it crown for being a technological marvel for its time. However, dedicated PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners got their hands on the second title by Crytek developers in March. If all goes well, they might get their wish and may very well be able to quench their thirst for some more Crysis as Crysis, the PC only spin-off, hits the HD consoles.
